CALLING ALL VANS!

ATTENTION ALL SPOKANE/COEUR D’ALENE/SANDPOINT AREA CHURCHES – CHURCH MEMBERS, PLEASE PASS THIS ALONG TO YOUR CHURCH, SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASS, MENS GROUP, YOUTH GROUP, ETC…: 

DOES YOUR CHURCH HAVE A 15 PASSENGER VAN OR ANY VEHICLE SITTING UNUSED ON YOUR PROPERTY – MAYBE THE MAINTENANCE CREW IS TIRED OF CUTTING THE GRASS AROUND IT?   

THEN WE NEED TO TALK TO YOU!  

15-20 YEARS AGO WE DID THE SAME THING WE ARE ASKNG FOR NOW.  MANY CHURCHES DONATED THEIR UNUSED 15 PASSENGER VANS FOR USE ON PRINCE OF WALES ISLAND IN ALASKA.  WE FILLED THE VANS WITH NEEDED BUILDING MATERIALS AND TOOLS, AND MORE AND BARGED THE VANS TO ALASKA.  THESE VANS WERE USED TO TRANSPORT TEAMS ALL OVER THE ISLAND FOR MANY YEARS.  NOW THOSE VANS HAVE GONE ON TO VAN HEAVEN AND THEY NEED TO BE REPLACED! 

THIS TIME WE WILL NOT BE SHIPPING THE VANS FROM THE EAST COAST (WE BEGAN IN GEORGIA). 

NOW WE WILL ACTUALLY BE ABLE TO DRIVE THE VANS FROM HERE.  WE HAVE TEAMS ALREADY LINED UP FOR THIS SUMMER AND THEY ARE IN NEED OF TRANSPORTATION ON THE ISLAND!

THESE TEAMS ARE HELPING CHURCHES WHO ARE FEW IN NUMBER AND IN VERY REMOTE LOCATIONS.

IF NEEDED, WE WILL BE ABLE TO GIVE YOU A GIFT IN KIND GIVING RECEIPT.

Ferry Ride Home - Wildlife

We got to see some amazing wildlife on the ferry ride back to Washington! Dolphins, Whales, Porpoises, Seals, Sea Lions and Sea Otters.

Aviation Missions

Caden was also able to go to Alaska for a week to look for aviation mission opportunities.

Pastors Dinner

On Sep. 29th we attended a pastors dinner in Coffman Cove. It was a great get together and time of fellowship, worship and discussion. It was also a surprise birthday party for Mike Ashe.

Baptisms

While we were in Alaska Christen and Caleb Jones were baptized! (We returned to Idaho on the 6th) They accepted Jesus into their hearts quite a while ago, but wanted to wait to be baptized in the ocean.
